Boys & Baseball- Blog Hop for Author Morgan Kearns

ATTENTION BASEBALL FANS! Do you like romance novels? Have you ever dreamed of falling in love with a professional baseball player? Then, this is the blog post for you! We’re going to spend the next three days celebrating the opening of a new baseball season with the fantabulous Deadlines and Diamonds series of Romance Novels by the amazingly talented author Morgan Kearns.

I’ve had the privilege to read 3 of the Deadlines and Diamonds books, and I have to say that they are one of the best sports-oriented romance novels I have ever read! They’re romantic, funny, heart warming, sweet, and all around entertaining. When Morgan swings the bat, she always hits a home-run; or a grand-slam, as the case is with Lucky 13.

So, grab your bat and take a swing at these great novels!

The day Kate Callahan steps through the doors of KHB as their newest reporter and meets photographer Rich Spencer her world is turned upside down. There is something about the way he caresses her with his eyes, speaks to her without saying a word, and lights her skin aflame with a simple touch that makes her rethink everything she’s ever known. She finds herself faced with an impossible choice, which becomes excruciating when fate steps in and makes the decision for her. Walking along a mountain of heartache and regret, Kate struggles to find a world where love does conquer all.

Back in the day, Sportscaster ‘Plain Jane’ Alexander blended into the background, content to watch from the sidelines while Grayson Pierce soaked up the spotlight. Content until he broke her heart. Grayson loves baseball. It was his pastime in high school, his passion in college, and now … his career. He also has the reputation as a bad-boy known for his fast cars, loose women, and expensive liquor. All things that make him deplorable in Jane’s eyes, but when the promise of an exclusive interview brings a reluctant Jane to Grayson’s home, she realizes that not everything is as it appears.
Xavier is a jerk with a capital A.S.S.
and he offers no apologies. If a woman is willing to give, he’ll gladly take, walking away without a backward glance. He’s not looking for commitment and the only diamond he’s interested in has three bases and a home plate. Dr. Frances Holden knows all about fixing broken bones and taming arrogant athletes. As the Team Doctor for the Las Vegas Rockets she deals with stubborn ballplayers every day. But nobody is more stubborn than Left Fielder Matthias Xavier, III. When a shoulder injury takes Xavier out of the game, it’s Frankie’s job to get him back on the diamond. His rehab turns out to be more than either of them bargained for, and when she promises to help him face his scarred past, neither of them are prepared for the fireworks that come Out of Left Field and threaten to scorch them both.
Tragedy made it possible for Enrique Santiago to take over as Left Fielder for the Las Vegas Rockets. Talent keeps him there, giving him everything a guy could want. Except a woman to share it with. A painful past with one very prominent reminder molded Shayne Xavier into the woman she is. She isn’t bitter or jaded, though. She’s a realist. Men can’t be depended upon and only lead to broken promises and shattered hearts.
Unaware of the demons of her past, Ricky tries to offer strength as Shayne’s life spins out of control. Sometimes Happily-Ever-After is too good to be true. Will Shayne and Ricky be able to restore the luck of his Lucky 13?
So, be sure to catch these great reads before they fly out of the ballpark and into the stands!
